Description
Brothers at War
John and Richard Thomson—two brothers from the Midwest—find themselves on opposite sides of history during the turbulent American Civil War. With unwavering convictions, they each enlist—one for the Union, the other for the Confederacy—driven by their conflicting beliefs about freedom, loyalty, and the future of their divided nation.
As the war rages on, their fates collide at Gettysburg, the site of one of the most pivotal and bloodiest battles of the entire conflict. Amidst the chaos and cannon fire, they come face to face—not as brothers, but as enemies!
The show reaches a powerful and emotional climax as the entire cast unites to deliver Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, its timeless words echoing with hope and resilience. The performance concludes with the stirring anthem “Freedom”, a heartfelt tribute to unity, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of a nation torn apart but determined to heal.
