Description
The Story of Theseus and the Minotaur
Once upon a time in ancient Greece, King Minos of Crete had a terrifying monster, the Minotaur, lurking in his castle’s maze. It was called the Monster of the Maze. Every year, children were sacrificed to this fearsome beast… until Theseus, son of Aegeus, stepped up as the hero.
With a big heart and bravery, he ventured into the labyrinth. But wait, there’s romance too! The king’s gorgeous daughter, Ariadne, fell for Theseus and gave him a ball of string to help him navigate the maze. Thanks to her cleverness, Theseus defeated the Minotaur and guided everyone to safety. Love, bravery, and adventure – what a musical!

Reviews
“Monster of the Maze” certainly fulfils all the requirements for a school performance and is based on a story, which will give it kudos for both the audience and the teacher. Within the Primary level it will allow for a large amount of spin-off material and research.
